I’m a curious cook and outdoors enthusiast. My closet is organized by color and my “favorite color” is situational. I love to travel, and not just taking the trip itself but the whole planning and research process as well. I’m currently working on scratching off as many countries on my scratch map as I can—so far I’ve got Peru, Ecuador, Germany, UK, Iceland, Italy, and Canada. I enjoy trying new foods, flavors, whiskey, and beer. I also like flea markets, letterpress, healthy doses of sarcasm, and good conversation. I rather dislike parking lots, cauliflower, and dogs with high-pitched barks.

I’m a graduate of Missouri State University with degrees in Graphic Design and Spanish. I’ve yet to had the opportunity to use the two together (except for the occasional work project with dual languages), but both degrees have seen good use on their own.

My husband is a redhead too, and we have two fur children, Pyper (our dog) and Lana (our cat). We recently moved to Washington state in May 2022—we love living in the PNW. I have four older brothers, so I learned how to be tough, physically and mentally, from the best of them.
